Join us on an astrological journey where love is intricately woven into the fabric of destiny. "The Planets That Be" follows the compelling narrative of Zadie, a lesbian astrologer, as she navigates the cosmic complexities of shaping others' destinies while grappling with her own. As we embark on this celestial adventure, we seek talented actors to bring depth, authenticity, and chemistry to our ensemble cast.

Lead and Supporting Characters: Various ages and backgrounds. From clients seeking guidance to friends and love interests in Zadie's orbit, we are looking for actors who can embody diverse personalities and relationships. Chemistry with the lead is paramount.

Note: We are committed to building a cohesive ensemble and will conduct table reads to ensure the right cast chemistry.

Roles:

[HAZEL]

23 to 35 years old, all ethnicities woman. LEAD CHARACTER, Zadie's best friend. Hazel is a type A, queer, perfectionist, lowkey OCD, Capricorn. She's logical and is prone to be a little judgy.

[ROWAN]

25 to 35 years old, all ethnicities woman. LEAD CHARACTER, Long term partner of Hazel. Rowan is a screenwriter who is going through depression. She's a bookworm, tv lover, and romantic... normally.

[BLUE]

25 to 35 years old, all ethnicities woman. SUPPORTING CHARACTER, Blue, is an early thirties literal freaking heartthrob. You could consider Blue a butch lesbian but if you asked her she would say she doesn’t do the labels. Camera operator by day, aspiring visual artist by night.

[YARA]

25 to 35 years old, all ethnicities woman. SUPPORTING CHARACTER Yara, early 30s , retired mean girl turned successful actress. Girlfriend to Blue, new to spirituality and being queer.

[PARIS]

25 to 40 years old, all ethnicities woman, transgender woman. Paris is a newbie to the astrology game, she is looking for her ideal match but is wary about new aged spirituality.
